“Positives v. Negatives” or pros v. cons:

Positives – She is drug, alcohol and tobacco free. Father has executed affidavit of non-paternity. No known health risk factors.

Negatives – First placement. Substantial Maternity Related Living Expenses due to need for housing pre-birth.

Birth Mother:

She was born in July 1993. She is Caucasian and is 5’4 with blue/hazel eyes and brown hair. She normally weighs about 130 when not pregnant. She is single. She has been with the father of two years and they have two children together. They are not together at this time.

She asserts that she does not drink alcohol, do any type of drugs and does not smoke. A 12 panel random drug screen was obtained from her on 8/28 and she tested negative for all 12 panels.

Sonogram on 8/25 reveals a Boy at 23 weeks.

She reports no medical or mental health issues except she believes she is OCD. She reports that she is serious with a fun side. And “I am compulsive about being tidy.” She is pretty adamant about Holistic Health and would love to do that professionally but says, “that is a dying industry.”

She has two children with the father – a boy 1and a girl 3. Both appear to be healthy and on developmental track. Both are blonde and blue-eyed.

She has been receiving pre-natal care from a provider but needs to change due to complications with Medicaid.

She lives with her two children and stays with her mother. The situation is not tenable as there are 7 other people in the home and she needs to relocate immediately.

We may need to put them (the three of them) up in an extended stay place on a weekly basis until we can get them stabilized with better housing options.

Her mother and other family support her adoption decision.

Birth Father:

He is Caucasian and was born in July 1988. He is 5’9 and weighs 140 with blue eyes and blonde hair.

He is in the landscaping industry. He is currently living with his mother, as well, who supports the adoption decision.

He reports that he suffers from an anxiety disorder and believes he may have lung cancer at this time.

The Child:
Boy - Due 12/21/17. No known health issues or risks. Two full

biological siblings – both appear to be on track developmentally.
